Our vision is a nationally connected network that provides lifelong continuity of support for off-the-track Thoroughbreds, Standardbreds, and those who care for them through shared knowledge, community connection, and practical resources
We connect owners, carers and the wider off-the-track community locally and nationally, creating opportunities for peer support, networking and the sharing of knowledge and resources. By listening to community experiences, we strengthen existing networks, inform advocacy and help identify opportunities to improve support across Australia.
OTTA is building a unified national voice for Australia's off-the-track community. Drawing on community feedback and lived experience, we engage with policymakers, industry and partner organisations to advocate for informed decisions and explore opportunities for meaningful, long-term reform that strengthens lifelong welfare outcomes.

OTTA is community-led and shaped by lived experience. We listen to owners, carers, and the wider off-the-track community to better understand their needs, strengthen connections, and help shape advocacy and future priorities.
OTTA is shaped by the people caring for off-the-track horses every day, ensuring programs remain practical, inclusive, and relevant across regions.
